IFFFAP will implement a strategy to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. Ending world hunger and poverty requires more than compassion and more than sustainable development. It also requires justice.
Natural disasters, poverty, disease, and civil war impact millions around the world. In an emergency, IFFFAP provides quality medical aid, disaster relief and recovery.
IFFFAP creates media to promote empathy and empowerment for the disability community. Our ultimate goal is to help create a more inclusive society where those with physical and intellectual challenges are treated with respect, and their needs are understood and accommodated.
Our work to build healthy communities, families and individuals is at the heart of IFFFAPs’ vision for social change. By partnering with a range of partners, from village health committees to government agencies, we help build the means to improve maternal, newborn and child health, ensure proper nutrition and combat infectious diseases. We also assist human development towards people with learning disabilities and disabled people.
IFFFAP views public health as the foundation for long-term global development. Without reliable access to proper nutrition, clean water, sanitation and health services, it is impossible for people to move beyond the urgency of meeting their most basic needs. Because health is such a critical issue, we strive to integrate health activities into our other work, such as disaster response.
