Human Disability Development & Disability Equalities

IFFFAP creates media to promote empathy and empowerment for the disability community. Our ultimate goal is to help create a more inclusive society where those with physical and intellectual challenges are treated with respect, and their needs are understood and accommodated.

Health Development Initiative – Striving for a Healthy Society

IFFFAP works to increase vulnerable households’ access to healthcare and services. We strengthen local institutions to provide better care that prevents and treats illness while mobilizing communities to take integrated approaches that address economic, social and infrastructure development.

When you invest in education, children will pay it forward. Equipped with knowledge and confidence, they will grow up to lead healthier, more productive lives.

Every child has the right to access safe, quality education.

However, 124 million children across the world are out of school and 250 million are not learning basic skills as a result of poor quality education.

Girls, children with disabilities, those from minority groups and children living in poor and remote areas are most often denied access to education. This has far-reaching consequences on their futures and those of their families, communities and countries.

We promote free, equal access to quality education for all children – from early learning to secondary education. We work with children, their families, communities, wider society and governments, and advocate at both local and international levels, so that all children are able to get an education.

Educational challenges are widespread in Africa. Low income families living in rural areas simply lack transportation to send their children to school. But the problem is not just a rural one; low income children in larger cities also find themselves lacking educational opportunities as well. According to UNESCO, there are many locations in Africa where one out of five elementary age students are unable to attend school. The obvious long-term problems include children unable to pursue their passions, read, write, or learn basic concepts about the world around them. This can lead to dangerous situations.

Achieves sustainable impact. Promotes research-based interventions. Designs effective digital technology. Builds scalable solutions. IFFFAP’s work around every communities does all this and more to open doors to education, employment, and healthier lives for millions of individuals.
