IFFFAP is dedicated to achieving sustainable development and social justice in the society. We broadly engage the general public and experts in research, policy advocacy, and awareness-raising.
IFFFAP will play a major role in pushing for sustainable development at the international level. IFFFAP will be the key drivers of inter-governmental negotiations, ranging from the regulation of hazardous wastes to a global ban on land mines and the elimination of slavery.
But IFFFAP is not only focusing their energies on governments and inter-governmental processes. With the retreat of the state from a number of public functions and regulatory activities, IFFFAPs have begun to fix their sights on powerful corporations – many of which can rival entire nations in terms of their resources and influence.
Our mission is to achieve environmental and social justice through policy research and advocacy. We facilitate change through:
・ policy- and practice-oriented research
・ independent policy advocacy to protect the interests of vulnerable people
・ awareness-raising that highlights individual voluntary action
IFFFAP, broadly engaging citizens and experts, is aimed to promote social and environmental justice in South Africa, Africa and beyond.
To solve global-scale problems, such as environmental problems, resource scarcity, poverty, economic disparity and human rights violations, requires not only immediate responsive actions once the problems occur, but also change of the social structures that taps the root cause of the problems.
OUR PROGRAMMES INCLUDES:
